About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities
- Manage the customer experience and identify opportunities to improve customers’ financial wellbeing
- Collaborate with ecosystem partners to grow customers’ share of wallet
- Act as a PNC ambassador to position solutions, drive revenue, and build customer loyalty
- Lead proactive sales conversations through outbound calling, service-to-sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and lobby engagement
- Deliver a full PNC conversation during client interactions to identify appropriate solutions
- Leverage ecosystem partnerships and community Centers of Influence to acquire, expand, and retain relationships
- Drive customer loyalty and share of wallet through differentiated customer experiences
- Perform lobby engagement and position financial products to meet customer needs
- Educate customers on options for managing financial transactions using technology, tools, and resources
- Apply product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems
- Manage risk by adhering to policies and procedures and exercising sound judgment
- Participate in branch daily operations, ensuring efficient and accurate completion
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate degree or equivalent degree, plus related experience or product knowledge
- Typically 4+ years of related business or functional experience
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered
- Knowledge of banking products and retail lending
- Customer service and customer experience knowledge
- Proactive sales and prospecting skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify and understand customer needs
- Ability to leverage technology and digital tools
- Ability to serve as a Notary Public in the applicable state
- Subject to additional background checks under Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations
- Must meet Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act requirements and, for any registered role, SAFE Act and/or FINRA requirements
- No required or preferred language assessments
- PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position
