About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Branch Network Planning Advisors and project teams with branch planning, design evaluations, scope development, and review of proposed design solutions
- Review architectural and design drawings for alignment with branch standards, brand standards, customer experience objectives, and the Kit of Parts
- Assist in applying, maintaining, and evolving branch design standards and the Kit of Parts
- Identify and resolve design challenges with creative, practical, customer-focused solutions
- Support renovation, refresh, de novo, and pilot initiatives across the retail network
- Partner with internal stakeholders to integrate brand, hospitality, technology, and customer experience considerations into branch environments
- Contribute to test-and-learn initiatives and future branch experience concepts
- Create presentations and visual communications conveying design intent and recommendations
- Gather field feedback and incorporate insights into continuous improvement
- Support the development and evolution of PNC's retail visual experience strategy
- Support line-of-business initiatives by understanding, analyzing, developing, and implementing solutions that drive business objectives
- Define and obtain data collection, research, and reporting activities
- Conduct research, analyze information, and recommend solutions
- Work with decision makers to ensure cross-business and cross-functional alignment
- Serve as a subject matter resource and advocate implementing best practices and learning plans
Requirements
What you’ll need- University / college degree typically required for roles at this level
- 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience
- Comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Proficiency in reading floor plans, construction documentation, and architectural details required
- AutoCAD and SketchUp experience preferred
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) preferred
- Experience creating visualizations, design documentation, presentations, and other visual communication materials
- Knowledge of business development, business intelligence, competitive advantages, competitive strategies, data integration, data mining, and strategic planning
- Accuracy and attention to detail, analytical thinking, business process design, data gathering and analysis, effective communications, influencing, tactical and strategic planning, problem solving, and strategic thinking
