About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review and analyze borrower-supplied reports, field exams, and loan documentation
  • Review financial statements for varied and complex borrowers
  • Perform collateral reconciliations
  • Analyze and reconcile varied and complex transactions according to established policies and procedures
  • Partner with internal and external business partners to route communications, documents, and action items
  • Identify, resolve, and appropriately escalate exceptions
  • Interact with customers and manage assigned accounts or portfolios
  • Ensure materials and documentation are available to complete transactions
  • Support training and onboarding of new employees and junior team members
  • Respond to inquiries and ad hoc requests
  • Complete research and provide workflow feedback
  • Review transactions and related documents for completeness, accuracy, service-level, policy, and procedure compliance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of two years of direct collateral analysis experience or related work experience
  • Typically requires 4+ years of related business or functional experience
  • Associate degree or equivalent degree typically required
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience may be considered
  • Strong analytical capabilities to assess and interpret collateral data
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience reviewing loan documentation preferred
  • Familiarity with AR and AP aging concepts preferred
  • Knowledge of collateral management
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Data gathering and reporting
  • Decision making and critical thinking
