About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute complex or escalated collateral processing activities using standard procedures
  • Process collateral activities including perfections, continuations, and releases in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Partner with internal and external business partners to route communications, documents, and action items to complete transactions
  • Identify, resolve, and appropriately escalate exceptions
  • Interact with customers as needed
  • Ensure appropriate materials and documentation are available to complete transactions
  • Support training of new team members
  • Provide responses and documentation to inquiries and ad hoc requests
  • Complete research and provide feedback on workflow and work received
  • Review transactions and related documents
  • Verify work processes for completeness, accuracy, service-level conformance, and compliance with applicable policies and procedures
  • Protect the bank's interest in collateral

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate degree or equivalent degree, or comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Typically requires 3+ years of experience
  • Knowledge of business administration, corporate finance, documentation, economic policy, investment management, legal operations, real estate, or trading strategies
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Decision making and critical thinking
  • Effective communications
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of operational functions, problem management processes, products and services, and standard operating procedures
  • Ability to review title binders and determine whether there is an outstanding unreleased lien
  • Ability to verify public records through county websites and offices
  • Ability to release or terminate Uniform Commercial Code (UCC)
  • Ability to calculate formulas for determining monetary amounts of releases for investment lines of credit
  • Ability to read and understand legal descriptions and mortgage/deed of trust exhibits
  • Ability to ensure state and county requirements are met for mortgage releases
  • Ability to prioritize requests and escalations
  • Clear communication with requestors through email and phone
  • Must be able to work in-office
  • PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position
