About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform advanced customer service activities and initiatives for specialized products and services
  • Support a complex suite of products and services and a sophisticated client base
  • Leverage advanced processes or tools to support internal and external customers
  • Resolve problems across multiple customer service channels
  • Deliver the CARES model to customers and service partners
  • Receive, investigate, and respond to inquiries about complex products, services, and issues
  • Recommend appropriate solutions and resolve customer service issues
  • Resolve the most complex or recurring issues and identify root causes
  • Act as an escalation point and interact with higher levels within customer organizations
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction and demonstrate commitment to quality
  • Coach, mentor, and potentially train customer service team members
  • Document customer interactions and complete service requests to minimize customer effort
  • Manage risks associated with business objectives and activities in accordance with PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework
  • Work within PNC's Treasury Management Card Technology organization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associates or equivalent degree, or comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience in lieu of a degree
  • Typically requires 3+ years of related experience
  • Prior card experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills preferred
  • Strong technology problem-solving skills preferred
  • Knowledge of customer service and customer interactions

  • Position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act and, for registered roles, the SAFE Act and/or FINRA requirements regarding certain criminal history
