About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute fiduciary decision-making under plans and documents where PNC serves as trustee, guardian, or agent
  • Administer complex fiduciary accounts and sensitive, high-profile relationships
  • Ensure compliance with legal and fiduciary regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Apply an in-depth understanding of trusts for clients and family relationships
  • Deliver the full fiduciary platform to grow the fiduciary business and ensure a high level of client experience
  • Administer assigned accounts according to documents, state law, policy, and procedure
  • Manage risk and resolve legal and compliance issues for assigned accounts
  • Communicate with clients, solve problems, and escalate client issues and concerns
  • Maintain and grow assets under management by working with clients, beneficiaries, and gatekeepers
  • Meet with clients on and off bank premises as needed
  • Customize client communications and presentations to provide fiduciary advice
  • Introduce planning concepts to meet client needs
  • Lead colleagues in analyses and recommendations for senior management or committee review
  • Serve as a subject matter resource for the fiduciary team and market leadership
  • Serve as a point of escalation for problem resolution and proxy for fiduciary leadership when needed
  • Apply customer-focused decision-making and manage business risks within PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Fiduciary experience with revocable and irrevocable trusts
  • Legal background beneficial; JD not required
  • CTFA designation or CFP beneficial
  • Typically requires a university/college degree
  • Typically requires 8+ years of industry-relevant experience
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered
  • No required certifications
  • No required licenses
  • No required or preferred language assessments
  • Must be able to comply with applicable legal, fiduciary, regulatory, policy, and procedure requirements
  • PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position
  • Position subject to Section 19 of the FDIA and, for any registered role, SAFE Act and/or FINRA requirements regarding certain criminal history
