About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage day-to-day activities and strategic support for all aspects of personnel management for a department or major business unit
- Lead the department in establishing goals and objectives aligned with overall business direction
- Advise managers on all aspects of HR
- Monitor career management programs and employee relations counseling
- Work with senior staff to set priorities and direction of HR initiatives
- Ensure effective communication of issues, operating plans, and responsibilities among location personnel, management, and the corporate office
- Facilitate efficient and effective execution of HR programs
- Support customer-focused decision-making and customized customer solutions
- Assess and manage risks associated with business objectives and activities in accordance with PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework
Requirements
What you’ll need- University/college degree typically required for roles at this level
- Bachelor's degree listed under Education
- Typically 8+ years of industry-relevant experience
- Comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for the role
- Knowledge of business decisions, employee counseling, employee engagement, employee relations, human resources, human resources operations, people management, stakeholder management, talent development, and talent management
- Competence in business acumen, compensation management, HR planning and development, human resources consulting, human resources policies, strategies and environment, influencing, partnering for clients' success, and staffing and recruiting
- No required certifications
- No required licenses
- No required or preferred language assessments
- Must be able to work in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Ohio, or Dallas, Texas
- PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT
