About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Install and configure Informatica software components across multiple environments
Partner with MIS project teams to understand project requirements and provide solutions aligned with Enterprise Architecture and ETL standards
Provide general platform support, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and on-call coverage
Maintain systems and perform upgrades, including patches
Configure LDAP authentication
Configure security including users/groups, roles, and file-system-level controls
Support development teams onshore and offshore
Work with vendors on issue resolution
Perform incident root-cause analysis and resolution
Coordinate problem resolution across server support, network, database, and security groups
Develop and publish platform documentation
Enforce security policies
Troubleshoot ETL job performance on Linux
Meet Disaster Recovery RTO and RPO objectives
Provide platform engineering expertise and oversee team efforts while meeting customer needs
Design, build, and maintain technology solutions for complex projects
Develop software components and hardware for complex projects aligned with business strategies
Apply best practices, standards, engineering approaches, and complex technical resolutions
Improve quality and ensure deliverables are secure, scalable, and reliable
Communicate with customers and integrate their needs with development

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of Informatica Data Management Cloud Administration experience preferred, with a Cloud Data Integration focus
5+ years of Informatica PowerCenter experience preferred
3+ years of Informatica Power Exchange experience preferred, with z/OS VSAM and CDC AS/400 focus
5+ years of RedHat Linux experience preferred
Experience with Informatica PowerCenter Operating System Profiles, High Availability/Grid, and various source/target types preferred
Experience with Informatica automation tools including pmrep, pmcmd, infacmd, and IDMC API preferred
Experience with NAS (Network Attached Storage) preferred
Experience with ServiceNow preferred
Experience with enterprise schedulers such as CA7 and/or Control-M preferred
Experience with uDeploy and artifactory/automated deployment methods preferred
Experience with Informatica Test Data Management preferred
Experience with Informatica Data Processor Transformation preferred
Experience with Network Data Mover (NDM)/Connect: Direct (C:D) preferred
Knowledge of automation, cloud computing, ETL (Informatica), Informatica administration, Infrastructure as Code, Linux, performance tuning, platform engineering, system administration, technical architecture, troubleshooting, and virtualization
University/college degree typically required for roles at this level
5+ years of industry-relevant experience
Comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree
