About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support syndicated loan activities across the full deal lifecycle
  • Learn Business Credit UK (BCUK) and Syndication Support functions before assuming trade closing responsibilities
  • Book and service UK syndicated loan deals in ACBS
  • Perform reporting and servicing
  • Process and maintain deal documentation in SyndTrak
  • Coordinate investor access and update life-of-loan activity
  • Manage investor data and support CUSIP generation
  • Liaise between deal closers and operational systems
  • Review and process trade documentation
  • Handle trade settlement activities
  • Conduct KYC and tax validation
  • Review loan agreements to confirm transferability
  • Execute finalized trades in ACBS
  • Assist with additional support for Debt Capital Markets
  • Provide client-facing service
  • Determine, review, and issue required legal documents
  • Coordinate transaction closing schedules with internal and external clients
  • Direct workflow to meet client expectations
  • Build relationships with clients, legal counsel, vendors, and internal partners
  • Resolve transaction inquiries and issues
  • Assist with responses to audit exceptions
  • Provide on-the-job training or coaching as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University / college degree typically required, or comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of syndicated loans highly preferred
  • Familiarity with ACBS systems highly preferred
  • Knowledge, skills, and abilities appropriate for the role
  • Ability to perform documentation, funding, and due diligence for standard or complex transactions
  • Ability to determine, review, and issue legal transaction documents while ensuring all terms are met
  • Ability to negotiate documentation revisions and draft changes independently or with client counsel
  • Ability to identify deficiencies in transaction documents
  • Ability to gather, review, and analyze transaction information
  • Ability to validate transaction structures against pricing models
  • Ability to assure perfection of security interests or request exception approval
  • Ability to comply with financial services regulations and internal procedures
