About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Apply specialty product knowledge to day-to-day servicing of a portfolio of commercial real estate loans with elevated borrower relationships and/or complexity
  • Ensure compliance with loan documents, accurate transaction processing, and timely stakeholder reporting
  • Analyze and interpret complex loan agreements to apply loan terms accurately in servicing activities
  • Perform covenant monitoring and testing to safeguard lenders’ cash flow and collateral
  • Read and analyze financial statements
  • Communicate with borrowers regarding financial test results and required follow-up actions
  • Resolve non-compliant issues through written and verbal communication with internal and external parties
  • Review and process loan payments, escrows, and reserve account disbursements
  • Assist with investor, internal, and regulatory reporting
  • Maintain accurate and current loan servicing records in the servicing system
  • Support onboarding of new loans and transition of paid-off or transferred loans
  • Support tax and insurance administration
  • Perform collection activities on delinquent accounts
  • Exercise funds disbursement authority when applicable
  • Review reports to identify exceptions, ensure quality, and support risk mitigation
  • Serve as a subject matter resource and provide specialty product training when applicable

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University/college degree typically required, with a Bachelor's education listed
  • Less than 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate loan documents and loan servicing
  • Ability to read and interpret complex loan agreements
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and perform financial analysis
  • Knowledge of covenant monitoring and testing
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements, regulatory compliance, due diligence, risk mitigation strategies, capital management, and loan documentation
  • Strong communication, time management, attention to detail, organizational, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, negotiate, interact with customers, and manage relationships
  • Must be able to work from a quiet, secure, and confidential home-based workspace if approved for remote work
  • PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT
