About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Service a portfolio of commercial real estate loans with elevated borrower relationships and/or complexity
- Ensure compliance with loan documents and accurately process transactions
- Provide timely reporting to stakeholders
- Analyze and interpret complex loan agreements and apply loan terms in servicing activities
- Conduct servicing activities in compliance with servicing agreements, loan documentation, internal policies and procedures, and applicable laws and regulations
- Resolve non-compliant issues through written and verbal communication with internal and external parties
- Review and process loan payments, escrows, and reserve account disbursements
- Assist with periodic investor, internal, and regulatory reporting
- Perform covenant compliance testing
- Maintain accurate and current loan servicing records in the servicing system
- Support onboarding of new loans and transition of paid-off or transferred loans
- Support tax and insurance administration
- Perform collection activities on delinquent accounts
- Exercise funds disbursement authority when applicable
- Review reports to identify exceptions, ensure quality, and support risk mitigation
- Serve as a subject matter resource and provide specialty product training when applicable
Requirements
What you’ll need- University/college degree typically required for roles at this level, or comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience including military service in lieu of a degree
