About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform previous-day reconciliations
- Conduct overnight investing
- Process wire and ACH disbursement transactions
- Prepare audit reporting
- Provide management with statistics on transaction volume and bank account balances
- Service a portfolio of commercial real estate loans, including CMBS, balance sheet, and agency loans
- Ensure compliance with loan documents and accurately process transactions
- Prepare timely reports for stakeholders
- Apply and interpret complex loan agreement terms in servicing activities
- Resolve non-compliant issues through written and verbal communication with internal and external parties
- Review and process loan payments, escrows, and reserve account disbursements
- Assist with investor, internal, and regulatory reporting
- Perform covenant compliance testing
- Maintain accurate and current loan servicing records
- Support onboarding of new loans and transitions of paid-off or transferred loans
- Support tax and insurance administration
- Perform collection activities on delinquent accounts
- Exercise funds disbursement authority when applicable
- Review reports to identify exceptions and support risk mitigation
- Serve as a subject matter resource and provide specialty product training when applicable
Requirements
What you’ll need- University/college degree, typically a bachelor's degree
- Less than 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered
- Knowledge of analytical thinking, capital management, compliance requirements, documentation, due diligence, loan documentation, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation strategies
- Competency in consulting, customer interaction, decision making and critical thinking, effective communications, financial analysis, managing multiple priorities, negotiating, operational functions, products and services, and relationship management
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex loan agreements
