About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute and enhance risk management programs across technology domains
- Monitor changes to laws, rules, and regulations affecting Technology
- Perform regulatory change assessments of new laws, rules, and guidance
- Lead complex engagements with all levels of management and articulate regulatory impacts
- Coordinate action plans for identified gaps and provide remediation guidance
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of laws and regulations impacting Technology
- Monitor trends and themes to identify changes to inherent risk
- Develop and maintain executive-level reporting on regulatory change initiatives
- Conduct ongoing monitoring with subject matter experts to ensure compliance
- Maintain effective controls associated with regulatory processes
- Consult with technology and business teams regarding risk-based decision-making
- Facilitate discussions on risk appetite, control requirements, remediation strategies, and risk acceptance
- Provide effective challenge to ensure risks are understood and appropriately managed
- Support regulatory examinations, internal audits, and external reviews
- Track remediation plans and verify sustainable resolution of findings
- Execute the Line of Business Risk Management program and identify enhancement opportunities
- Participate in designing and developing risk management programs and lead specific program components
- Execute risk management programs within or across lines of business and potentially lead cross-functional teams
- Provide risk expertise to businesses and risk partners including Compliance, Credit, Legal, and Audit
- Lead or influence risk initiatives and business-as-usual activities; identify risk, assess impact, recommend resolutions, and report or escalate risk and program compliance
Requirements
What you’ll need- University / college degree typically required, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered
- Bachelor's degree listed under Education
- Knowledge of change management, conflict management, crisis management, emerging risks, influencing change, operations management, risk management programs, and strategic planning
- Competencies in data gathering and reporting, decision making and critical thinking, effective communications, industry knowledge, internal controls, operational risk, organizational governance, process management, regulatory environment - financial services, and standard operating procedures
- No required certifications
- No required licenses
- No required or preferred language assessments
- Must not require employment visa sponsorship; PNC will not provide sponsorship or participate in STEM OPT
- Subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act and, for registered roles, the SAFE Act and/or FINRA requirements regarding certain criminal history
