About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and coordinate risk management and governance activities supporting compensation programs
- Execute assessments, monitoring activities, and related risk oversight processes
- Provide consultative guidance to Total Rewards leaders on enterprise risk management requirements and governance practices
- Partner to evaluate risks, strengthen controls, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with regulatory expectations
- Develop, maintain, and enhance governance frameworks, reporting, and risk management tools
- Ensure Audit and ETS readiness through continuous monitoring of the control environment
- Update internal desktop documents and departmental procedures
- Oversee and remediate issues
- Execute the Line of Business Risk Management program and identify enhancement opportunities
- Enable line-of-business adherence to risk management programs
- Participate in designing and developing risk management programs and lead development of specific program components
- Execute risk management programs within or across lines of business, including business self-assessment and quality reviews
- Lead cross-functional teams and risk initiatives
- Provide risk expertise while working with business teams and risk partners including Compliance, Credit, Legal, and Audit
- Identify risks, assess impacts, recommend resolutions, and report or escalate risk and program compliance as appropriate
Requirements
What you’ll need- University / college degree typically required for roles at this level
- 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered
- Bachelor’s education listed
