About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Process, review, and reconcile mutual fund trades
Resolve trade-processing issues accurately and on time
Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and operational support
Maintain documentation using Microsoft OneNote and other Microsoft tools
Follow operational procedures and implement process enhancements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational efficiency and quality
Execute routine and complex transactions and processes across specialized products or functional areas
Identify and address exceptions and escalate complex transactions
Partner with internal service partners to route calls, documents, and action items
Interact with external customers to complete transactions
Ensure materials and documentation are available and equipment is operational when applicable
Provide consultation and advice to internal and external customers
Recommend and assist with implementing process improvements
Participate in process improvement projects and serve as a subject matter resource
Assist with training and onboarding new hires
Review transactions and documents for completeness, accuracy, service-level compliance, and policy conformance
Participate in risk mitigation activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associates or equivalent degree
Typically requires 3+ years of experience
In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office products, including OneNote
Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Experience and/or working knowledge of AMG systems, platforms, or processes preferred
Proven experience supporting mutual fund trade operations preferred
Prior experience in a senior or lead-level operations role preferred
No required certifications
No required licenses
No required or preferred language assessments
