About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Answer calls from external customers regarding pension plans
- Discuss payments, withholdings, benefits, and other pension-related information
- Perform back-office operations and processing
- Execute complex transactions and processes using standard policies and procedures
- Identify and address exceptions and escalate complex transactions
- Partner with internal service partners to route calls, documents, and action items
- Interact with external customers to complete transactions
- Ensure materials and documentation are available
- Provide consultation and advice to internal and external customers
- Review processes, recommend improvements, and drive implementation
- Serve as a subject matter resource for process improvement projects
- Train and onboard new hires
- Review transactions and documents for completeness, accuracy, service-level conformance, and policy compliance
- Participate in risk mitigation activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- University/college degree with less than 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities appropriate for the role

- Must reside within the Pittsburgh area
- Availability to work 9am–6pm EST, Monday–Friday
- PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT
- Call center experience is highly preferred
