About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities
  • Manage the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve customers’ financial wellbeing
  • Collaborate with ecosystem partners to grow customers’ share of wallet
  • Act as a PNC ambassador and position PNC solutions to drive revenue and customer loyalty
  • Lead proactive sales conversations through outbound calling, service-to-sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and lobby engagement
  • Deliver a full PNC conversation during client interactions to identify appropriate solutions
  • Leverage ecosystem partnerships and community Centers of Influence to acquire, expand, and retain relationships
  • Drive customer loyalty and share of wallet through a differentiated customer experience
  • Perform lobby engagement activities and position financial products to meet customer needs
  • Educate customers on options for managing financial transactions using technology, tools, and resources
  • Apply product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems
  • Manage risk by adhering to policies and procedures and demonstrating sound judgment
  • Participate in branch daily operations, ensuring efficient and accurate completion

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically requires an associate degree or equivalent degree
  • Typically requires 4+ years of related business or functional experience
  • Comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Knowledge of banking products
  • Digital awareness
  • Retail lending knowledge
  • Prospecting and proactive sales skills
  • Customer service and customer experience knowledge
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to understand customer needs
  • Ability to serve as a Notary Public in the applicable state
  • Subject to additional background checks required by Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations
  • Subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act and, for registered roles, the SAFE Act and/or FINRA requirements
  • No required certifications
  • No required or preferred language assessments
