About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead identification, definition, and delivery of data requirements
  • Partner with modeling, business, technology, and data consumer teams to translate requirements into provisioning solutions
  • Source or develop data assets and address data quality issues
  • Develop, test, and document prototype logic for new data attributes and remediation solutions
  • Collaborate with technology teams on enhancements, data issues, and production deployments
  • Document data lineage, business rules, and mapping specifications
  • Manage Jira work items
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assessments
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve operational efficiency
  • Participate in testing and validation activities
  • Provide financial and regulatory reporting and analyses
  • Run complex business performance, risk, and operational analytics
  • Develop analytical methods/models for market, credit, and operational risk
  • Analyze large datasets and develop strategies to improve lending decisions, manage risk, increase revenue, and reduce losses
  • Apply predictive models and third-party data for segmentation and targeting of acquisition and portfolio strategies
  • Manage engagements with internal and external information suppliers
  • Design, develop, and monitor test designs and analytical reporting
  • Design and enhance standard reporting suites for product and portfolio reviews
  • Collaborate with line of business, Finance, and Risk partners to establish credit risk appetite, policies, and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree / university or college degree
  • 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered
  • Experience provisioning data for risk, finance, CECL, stress testing, regulatory reporting, or portfolio analytics
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Experience validating and reconciling large datasets
  • Experience working with enterprise data warehouses and distributed data environments
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions
  • Experience partnering with business and technology teams throughout the data lifecycle
  • Preferred skills: Jira, SQL, Teradata, Hadoop, Python, Pandas, and PySpark
  • Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and AI agent development is a plus
  • No required certifications
