About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as Product Owner for one or more Receivables product initiatives
- Own and maintain the product backlog, including user stories, acceptance criteria, prioritization, and sprint planning activities
- Partner with technology teams, architects, UX designers, and business stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle
- Support development and execution of the Receivables product roadmap
- Identify opportunities to enhance client experience, improve operational efficiency, and drive revenue growth
- Evaluate market trends, competitive offerings, client feedback, and strategic priorities with Product Managers
- Own the product vision and definition and serve as the voice of the customer
- Define and convey the product vision to address client requirements
- Lead backlog grooming and ensure prioritization based on business value
- Keep Scrum Masters and development teams focused on the right priorities
- Act as the primary point of contact for team questions and make empowered decisions
- Accept delivery of working products from Scrum teams
- Communicate iteration business value and outcomes to stakeholders and clients
- Apply customer-focused practices and manage risks in alignment with PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree
- Typically 8+ years of industry-relevant experience
- Comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Experience serving as a Product Owner in an Agile environment
- Background in Treasury Management, Product Management, Business Analysis, or a related discipline
- Experience with Treasury Management receivables products, including Lockbox, Integrated Receivables, Cash Application, Electronic Receivables, ACH, Wire and Instant Payments, Payment Matching and Reconciliation, and ERP Integrations
- Experience working with commercial banking clients
- Familiarity with digital user experiences, ERP connectivity, API-based integrations, or digital treasury platforms
- Experience supporting product modernization, automation, or workflow transformation initiatives
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, or similar Agile certification preferred
- No employment visa sponsorship or STEM OPT participation
