About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze credit loss model inputs, assumptions, processes, and outputs
  • Summarize and explain analytical findings for technical, business, and senior-management audiences
  • Maintain and enhance software supporting analytics and reporting, including automation, testing, controls, and documentation
  • Independently perform advanced quantitative analyses and model development to support decision-making
  • Run quantitative strategies and make recommendations based on analyses
  • Analyze and develop new model frameworks supporting the line of business
  • Refine, monitor, and review existing models
  • Communicate with model owners and model developers throughout reviews
  • Work with large, complex datasets to create models
  • Perform quantitative analysis and develop complex reports
  • Assess theoretical aspects, model design and implementation, data quality, and data integrity
  • Measure and analyze model risks and determine model strengths and limitations
  • Prepare and analyze detailed documents for validation and regulatory compliance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical discipline or equivalent relevant experience
  • 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience typically required at this level
  • Strong data analytics, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to interpret complex results and translate them into clear insights
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Familiarity with statistical models and large datasets
  • Knowledge of quantitative models, predictive analytics, quantitative techniques, credit risks, financial analysis, model development, operational risks, and risk appetite
  • Knowledge of banking quantitative analysis, regulatory environment in financial services, data gathering and reporting, consulting, communications, and testing
  • No employment visa sponsorship or STEM OPT participation
  • Must satisfy applicable FDIA Section 19 and, for registered roles, SAFE Act and/or FINRA requirements
