About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage RFx events from initial ideation through contract execution
- Support strategic initiatives within Supply Chain Management and business areas including Risk, Fraud, Business Resilience, and Supply Chain Operations
- Manage multiple business-as-usual projects supporting current and previous strategic engagements
- Identify operational and category strategies
- Negotiate contracts
- Review project pipelines and expiring contracts
- Support processes in other Supply Chain Management areas as needed
- Assist with researching, evaluating, negotiating, and selecting suppliers for high-quality, cost-effective goods and services
- Request and review complex vendor proposals
- Consult with vendors to obtain optimal pricing and contractual terms
- Research and negotiate complex organizational purchases
- Interface with internal stakeholders to interpret needs and determine accurate specifications
- Prepare supplier strategies, deal strategies, financial analyses, category strategies, and other Strategic Sourcing artifacts
- Manage multiple projects across various business areas and connect with business partners and supply chain team members
- Facilitate project movement and lead steering committees
- Report to executive leadership monthly/quarterly to ensure visibility and strategic alignment
Requirements
What you’ll need- University/college degree; Education listed as Bachelors
- 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience
- Comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Experience using technology platforms supporting supply chain processes, including ERP, S2P, and risk management platforms
- Familiarity with products and services provided/used by financial services organizations
- Experience sourcing technology products and services, including software, SaaS, and network products/services
- Ability to communicate effectively across all areas of the organization
- Knowledge of procurement, purchasing management, sourcing strategies, supplier management, supplier selection, vendor relationships, and vendor risk management
- No required certifications or licenses
- No required or preferred language assessments
- Must work from a quiet, secure, and confidential home-based workspace if remote work is approved
