About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Independent Technology Risk Management in planning and executing the ITRM program and communication strategies
- Leverage subject matter expertise across infrastructure, data, information security, MIS, governance, and technology control frameworks
- Oversee and challenge first-line ability to identify, assess, and mitigate technology and associated risks
- Manage relationships with Technology and Lines of Business to monitor and communicate risk issues to appropriate management levels
- Drive strategic execution of the ITRM program to meet regulatory expectations and manage risks within PNC's risk appetite
- Consult with the team and Lines of Business to execute ITRM program components
- Work with businesses and risk partners including Compliance, Security, and Technology to proactively identify risk exposures
- Challenge business self-assessment results for new initiatives, business-as-usual activities, and risk management programs
- Review and report applicable independent analyses
- Translate security and threat intelligence to current technology and control environments
- Develop qualitative and quantitative risk analytics approaches to independently evaluate technology and security risks
Requirements
What you’ll need- University / college degree, specifically a Bachelor's degree
- Typically 8+ years of industry-relevant experience
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered
- Knowledge of technology environments including infrastructure, data, information security, MIS, and governance
- Knowledge of technology governance and control frameworks
- Expertise in information security management, internal controls, IT environments, risk assessments, risk control, compliance reporting, and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of decision making and critical thinking, industry knowledge, organizational savvy and politics, planning and organizing
- No required certifications
- No required licenses
- No required or preferred language assessments
- Must not require employment visa sponsorship; PNC will not provide sponsorship or participate in STEM OPT
