About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a team of software engineers supporting critical retail banking applications
- Create and lead the technical design and development of software solutions
- Propose and design software solutions for complex business needs
- Prepare required technical and procedural documentation
- Facilitate complex problem resolution
- Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues
- Review software coding, testing, and documentation
- Apply modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities
- Participate in rotating after-hours on-call support for critical incidents
- Manage risks associated with business objectives and activities within PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework
- Focus on customer needs and satisfaction in business decisions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Combination of experience with OpenShift, Hogan, Dynatrace, and Linux required
- Experience with Windows Server, Oracle, SQL, and Mongo DB is a plus
- Experience working with a site reliability engineering group is desired
- Rotating on-call support amongst team members is required for critical incidents after hours
- 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience
- University/college degree typically required; a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree
