About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for assigned applications
Provide technical leadership and represent application capabilities, risks, and priorities to business and technology stakeholders
Lead support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of enterprise Java applications using Oracle databases, SQL, and ETL processes
Monitor application health and operational performance using Dynatrace
Identify issues, drive root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions
Partner with development, infrastructure, security, and business teams to troubleshoot complex production issues
Validate integrations and support end-to-end application stability
Create and lead the technical design and development of software solutions
Propose and design solutions for complex business needs
Prepare technical and procedural documentation
Facilitate complex problem resolution
Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues
Review software coding, testing, and documentation
Apply modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities
Assess and manage risks associated with business objectives and activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

University / college degree typically required, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience
Bachelor's degree listed under Education
Comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree
Knowledge of Java, Oracle databases, SQL, and ETL processes
Experience with Dynatrace or similar application monitoring tools
Skills in Agile Methodology, Cloud Computing, Code Reviews, Debugging, DevOps, Project Management, Requirements Analysis, Software Development, System Designs, and Technical Designs
Competencies in Application Delivery Process, Application Design, Architecture, Application Development Tools, Application Testing, Packaged Application Integration, System Development Life Cycle, and Technical Troubleshooting
No required certifications or licenses
