  • Configure servers to new standards
  • Monitor, maintain, and support systems and software for stability and compliance
  • Install patches and upgrades
  • Monitor systems availability, performance, and capacity against baseline metrics and report trends
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of supported systems and applications
  • Perform application governance, including attestations, continuity testing, impact analysis, audit/regulatory inquiries, and compliance with technology standards
  • Ensure projects are completed by target dates from start to finish

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University / college degree typically required, or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Knowledge of production support
  • Experience upgrading Linux and Windows server operating systems
  • Experience with Dynatrace / Logscale
  • SQL Server installation and queries
  • Ability to code if necessary for ETL, triage, error detection, and troubleshooting
  • Willingness to work in-office at one of PNC's IT hubs
  • Must not require employment visa sponsorship; PNC will not participate in STEM OPT
  • Bachelor's degree listed under Education
  • No required certifications or licenses
