About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Independent Technology Risk Management planning and execution
  • Develop and execute ITRM communication strategies
  • Oversee and challenge first-line identification, assessment, and mitigation of technology and associated risks
  • Manage relationships with Technology and Lines of Business
  • Monitor and communicate technology and associated risk issues to appropriate management levels
  • Coordinate and implement the ITRM program to meet regulatory expectations and PNC’s risk appetite
  • Coordinate timely execution of the ITRM program across lines of business
  • Consult on execution of ITRM program components
  • Proactively identify risk exposures across PNC with business and risk partners including Compliance, Security, and Technology
  • Challenge business self-assessment results and review and report independent analyses
  • Translate security and threat intelligence into technology and control environments
  • Develop qualitative and quantitative risk analytics to independently evaluate technology and security risks

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University/college degree typically required
  • 5+ years of industry-relevant experience
  • Comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Knowledge of technology environments, including infrastructure, data, information security, MIS, and governance
  • Knowledge of technology governance and control frameworks
  • Skills in compliance reporting, customer risk, decision making, regulatory requirements, risk assessments, risk control, and strategic objectives
  • Competencies in accuracy and attention to detail, industry knowledge, information security management, internal controls, IT environment, planning and organizing, and problem solving
  • No required certifications
  • No required licenses
  • No required or preferred language assessments
  • Must not require employment visa sponsorship; PNC will not participate in STEM OPT
  • Subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act and, for registered roles, the SAFE Act and/or FINRA requirements
