About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead proactive oversight and management of business- and support-area-aligned technology and technology-adjacent risks
- Manage a team or multiple teams implementing the Independent Technology Risk Management program and communication strategies
- Provide governance and independent challenge of first-line identification, assessment, and mitigation of technology and security risks
- Ensure engagements with Technology and Lines of Business monitor and communicate risk issues through appropriate management levels
- Maintain and execute the ITRM program to support business risk management, regulatory expectations, and organizational risk appetite
- Oversee timely and proper execution of the ITRM program within and across lines of business
- Consult on program components using cybersecurity, threat intelligence, and risk analytics expertise
- Work with businesses and risk partners, including Compliance, Security, and Technology, to proactively identify risk exposures
- Review and report business self-assessment results, including new initiatives, business-as-usual activities, and risk management programs, to higher-level management
- Cultivate diverse teams and inclusive workplaces
- Drive change and innovation, deliver results, and develop employees and customers
Requirements
What you’ll need- University / college degree typically required; Education listed as Bachelors
- 8+ years of industry experience typically required
- At least 5 years of prior management experience typically required
- Comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Knowledge of compliance reporting, customer risk, regulatory requirements, risk assessments, and risk control
- Competency in decision making and critical thinking, industry knowledge, information security management, internal controls, IT environment, organizational savvy and politics, planning and organizing
- No required certifications

- No required or preferred language assessments
