About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support PNC's Technology Project Management Office for HR, Legal, Corporate Responsibility, and Audit
- Work on AI, risk, data, enhancements, and technology projects supporting the business
- Manage complex projects from original concept through final implementation and post-project assessment
- Meet project objectives within established timeframes
- Manage a single project or portfolio requiring extensive planning, oversight, and communication across multiple segments, channels, or lines of business
- Develop project strategy, processes, resource allocation, budget, guidelines, and project management team support
- Partner with internal project liaisons to acquire resources, assign tasks, direct activities, and control project execution
- Coach and mentor project team members
- Track and report progress, analyze results, define project products, and forecast future trends
- Manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, devise contingency plans, and recommend improvements
- Maintain communications for governing bodies and interested parties
- Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders clearly and on time
- Manage projects that may typically exceed $2.5 million in size
Requirements
What you’ll need- University / college degree typically required, or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience
- Experience with project and financial management/analysis
- Experience with business analysis
- Experience communicating with multifunctional teams and business segments
- Background in project and portfolio management tools
- Background in financial systems and analysis
- Adaptable, flexible, and solid communication skills
- PMP certification helpful but not required
- Consulting background preferred
- Experience in a regulated industry such as Financial Services, FinTech, Healthcare, or Pharma preferred
- Knowledge of accountability, Agile Methodology, analytical thinking, budgeting, leading project teams, meeting organization, project implementations, project scope development, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), strategic objectives, and strategic planning
- Knowledge of accuracy and attention to detail, consulting, effective communications, IT standards, procedures and policies, organizational leadership, problem solving, project administration, and project management
- No required certifications
