Key responsibilities & impact

Complete basic due diligence, document processing, and financial/statistical analysis in support of underwriting
Assist in preparing business cases for credit approval without credit approval authority
Review relevant forms, provide analysis, and order reports
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of relevant information and documents
Perform basic financial analysis, including cash flow and collateral analysis
Research and respond to internal and external customer questions and inquiries
Receive spread requests for commercial loan renewals or new requests through the workflow tool
Review financial statements for accuracy and return them to underwriters for correction when inconsistencies or inaccuracies are found
Input data into internal spreading software to ensure consistency for underwriter approval
Assess and manage risks in accordance with PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework
Create customer solutions collaboratively within Commercial Lending Operations

What you’ll need

Associates or equivalent degree
Typically requires 3+ years experience
Comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree
Knowledge of accounting, credit decisions, financial analysis, financial statement spreading, identifying risks, Microsoft Excel, process improvements, and risk assessments
Accuracy and attention to detail
