  • Serve as a senior trusted advisor to executive stakeholders and guide transformation initiatives
  • Lead large, complex consulting engagements and deliver executive-ready outcomes
  • Translate client challenges into actionable solutions with measurable business impact
  • Collaborate with Industry and Service Line leadership on proposals, solution development, and pricing strategy
  • Develop and maintain executive networks across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and broader life sciences organizations
  • Shape Point B’s life sciences value proposition and go-to-market strategies
  • Develop automation, AI, and data-driven operational transformation offerings for life sciences clients
  • Establish delivery standards, methodologies, quality benchmarks, reusable assets, and implementation playbooks
  • Advise executives on process redesign, automation, AI deployment, operational workflows, clinical technology ecosystems, and operating model transformation
  • Publish thought leadership and represent Point B in client presentations and industry forums
  • Develop, mentor, and coach team members
  • Provide day-to-day team guidance and oversight
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and performance management
  • Build Intelligent Operations subject matter expertise and talent pipelines within the Life Sciences practice

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • B.A. or B.S.
  • Proven track record of originating new business, growing and scaling a book of business, and cultivating C-suite relationships
  • 15+ years of consulting industry experience, or a combination of consulting and direct industry experience, including hands-on leadership in clinical development and operations or R&D transformation
  • Experience advising senior stakeholders on operating model strategy and technology enablement, including hands-on leadership or oversight of end-to-end operational transformation delivery
  • Deep understanding of the clinical development/clinical operations operating model, including business functions, roles and responsibilities, technology landscape, and regulatory impacts
  • Exceptional executive communication, structured problem solving, and consulting storytelling skills
  • Experience delivering and leading strategic engagements in pharma and biotechnology organizations
  • Active network across Research, Development, and Commercial areas of the Life Sciences industry
  • Ability to architect complex client engagements, develop a portfolio of work, and create executive relationships
  • Hands-on experience with operations transformations in life sciences, enterprise technologies such as Veeva, Medidata, SAP, and Salesforce, solution design, change management, AI, and process automation in regulated environments
  • Ability to engage credibly with CFO, COO, and CSCO stakeholders
  • Familiarity with agile, product operating model, and DevSecOps approaches in regulated life sciences environments
  • Experience building or scaling an operations transformation consulting capability or practice area, including hiring and establishing delivery standards
  • Ability to work on-site as requested
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Ability to travel up to 80%
  • Ability to work non-standard hours as necessary
