About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead large business and technical projects in an on-site client-facing role
- Lead strategic and tactical elements of the full lifecycle of large engagements
- Develop and manage complex program/project structures, schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Support all phases of engagements and operate with senior client and firm leaders
- Oversee workstream and project quality and ensure deliverables meet standards and client requirements
- Prepare, review, understand, and maintain complex project and program documentation
- Manage project budgets and maximize profitability
- Lead meetings and drive discussions toward resolution
- Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and recommend key program decisions
- Support business development and identify new service opportunities
- Grow client networks and maintain relationships
- Define long-term client account goals with Client, Project, and Engagement Leaders
- Foster collaborative, innovative, high-performing teams
- Assemble and lead program teams
- Coach and mentor associates and support career development
- Contribute to firm-wide operational initiatives, delivery methodologies, offerings, and intellectual capital
- Supervise day-to-day development of others and potentially manage people
Requirements
What you’ll need- B.A. or B.S. degree required
- 8 years minimum of experience
- Ability to work on-site as requested
- Ability to work remotely
- Ability to travel up to 80%
- Ability to work non-standard work hours as necessary
- Comprehensive perioperative services experience across inpatient, outpatient, and ambulatory surgical center settings, encompassing the full surgical continuum from pre-op to post-acute care
- Experience analyzing, designing, and implementing process improvements in clinical environments to increase efficiency, enhance productivity, reduce cost, and mitigate operational risk
- Experience with multiple hospital operations leadership roles
- MBA desired
- PM experience leading large, complex engagements
- Cross-industry experience highly desired, or deep experience in a strategic industry
- Consulting experience desired; customer-facing experience required
- Experience coaching or advising others on PM activities
- Experience with technology, systems implementation, change management, PMO/TMO, PPM, and/or process improvement
- Experience leading teams and developing others on engagement
- Preference in engineering, healthcare administration, or clinical/nursing
