About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the Accelerated Undergraduate online student recruitment and admissions process from inquiry development through enrollment support and student follow-up
  • Manage a high-volume portfolio across multiple online undergraduate programs and terms starting approximately every eight weeks
  • Communicate proactively with prospective students via phone, Zoom, voicemail, text, and email
  • Build relationships, understand educational and career goals, identify enrollment barriers, and provide next steps
  • Evaluate applications according to university and program criteria
  • Conduct preliminary transcript reviews and explain transferability, remaining requirements, program structure, and admissions processes
  • Maintain accurate student records in the admissions CRM
  • Monitor admissions pipelines and identify students needing additional support or follow-up
  • Meet or exceed enrollment, activity, conversion, and engagement goals
  • Report pipeline, recruitment activity, projections, barriers, and goal progress to supervisors and enrollment leadership
  • Use data, CRM reporting, and feedback to improve engagement, conversion, and enrollment outcomes
  • Participate in performance discussions, coaching, training, and professional development
  • Collaborate with Admissions Counselors, Enrollment Contact Center, Student Success, Financial Services, Records, Marketing, academic departments, and other university partners
  • Participate in virtual and in-person recruitment activities, information sessions, webinars, appointments, presentations, and online events
  • Maintain knowledge of programs, admissions requirements, policies, resources, processes, and program changes
  • Work occasional evenings and weekends for recruitment events, appointments, or department initiatives
  • Perform other related responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience in university enrollment, admissions, recruitment, student services, customer service, or sales preferred
  • Experience working with adult, online, transfer, or nontraditional students preferred
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Zoom
  • Experience with Salesforce or another CRM preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate through phone, video, text, email, and in-person interactions
  • Strong motivation and enthusiasm for promoting academic programs
  • Commitment to achieving individual and team enrollment goals
  • Ability to receive feedback, adapt to changing needs, and continuously improve performance
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate record maintenance while managing high volume
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities under multiple deadlines and frequent enrollment starts
  • Ability to work independently with consistent communication, accountability, and transparency
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Ability to analyze student pipelines and circumstances to prioritize outreach
  • Public speaking and presentation skills
  • Evidence of Christian commitment and active church involvement
  • Agreement to live in accordance with PLNU’s Community Life Covenant
  • Successful completion of a background check
  • Ability to work evenings and/or weekends as needed
  • Reliable transportation for occasional in-person recruitment activities
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
