About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Grow market share across the Western U.S. through customer relationship management, new business development, and engagement with architects, designers, and specifiers
  • Own and grow the multi-state territory of Alaska, California, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan aligned with company growth objectives
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with fabricators, distributors, and dealers
  • Drive organic growth through account management, product training, and joint sales initiatives
  • Prospect and acquire new customers through in-person visits, phone outreach, email campaigns, and social media selling
  • Build relationships with design/build firms, high-end residential stakeholders, architects, designers, and specifiers
  • Deliver product presentations and CEU sessions to influence project decisions
  • Represent Polycor’s portfolio of limestone, marble, granite, fabricated stone, and Vetrazzo
  • Educate customers on natural stone applications, features, and competitive advantages
  • Travel approximately 60% within the territory
  • Collaborate with the Sales Director to set goals, refine strategy, and track performance
  • Maintain CRM activity tracking, pipeline management, forecasting, open opportunities, and lead follow-up
  • Provide territory insights and analysis for data-driven decision-making
  • Participate in weekly team calls and monthly one-on-ones
  • Partner with operations, marketing, finance, and leadership to support customer needs and business results
  • Communicate market feedback to inform product development and go-to-market strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Sales experience in construction and design markets
  • Customer relationship management and new business development experience
  • Ability to manage and grow a multi-state territory
  • Experience engaging fabricators, distributors, dealers, architects, designers, and specifiers
  • Ability to use multi-channel prospecting, including in-person visits, phone outreach, email campaigns, and social media selling
  • Product knowledge of limestone, marble, granite, fabricated stone, and Vetrazzo
  • Ability to deliver product presentations and continuing education (CEU) sessions
  • Approximately 60% travel within the territory
  • Maintain 100% Salesforce compliance and accurate CRM updates
  • Meet 30–35 meetings per month and 2 CEU presentations per month
  • 12–24 hour response time to inbound inquiries
  • Willingness to complete the Predictive Index assessment
  • Any experience deemed equivalent will be considered
