About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with independent insurance agents within the assigned territory
  • Collaborate with agents on account planning sessions, growth opportunities, objectives, and actionable strategies to achieve premium and performance goals
  • Reconnect with previously high-performing agents to rebuild relationships, understand production barriers, and drive renewed premium growth
  • Conduct regular virtual and occasional in-person visits with agents
  • Drive premium growth through strategic plans and collaboration with agents
  • Use data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and recommendations that improve performance and profitability
  • Serve as the primary liaison between HOA/Porch and agents
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regional market dynamics to influence territory strategy
  • Gather agent feedback to shape HOA/Porch strategies and products
  • Represent HOA/Porch at local industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
  • Resolve complex agent challenges by partnering with underwriting, marketing, and operations teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, insurance or a related field (preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in insurance sales, relationship management, or agency development, with a proven track record of success
  • 7+ years of experience in Insurance preferred
  • Active Property & Casualty license (or willingness to obtain as needed)
  • Proficiency in CRM tools
  • Deep understanding of the insurance industry, including distribution channels, independent agents, and market trends
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and influence high-performing agents
  • Analytical mindset with experience using performance metrics and data-driven insights
  • Examples of identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities to impact results
  • Experience working with high-performing independent agents and agency networks
  • Familiarity with agency management systems and insurance software platforms
  • Multiple examples of achieving results or showing significant progress in changing and ambiguous environments
  • Highly collaborative and able to partner across multiple groups
  • Eligible to work in the US as verified through Form I-9 and E-Verify
