About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with Account Managers on existing accounts and convert expansion signals into pipeline, upsell, and cross-sell revenue
  • Qualify, advance, and close opportunities generating immediate, measurable revenue aligned to customer goals
  • Partner with account managers, customer success, and product teams for seamless post-sale handoff and customer adoption
  • Work with sales leaders for alignment, supervision, and coaching
  • Shadow and support senior representatives on presentations and demos, taking on increasing responsibility
  • Provide product teams with insights on sales blockers and customer feature demand
  • Complete product and Inside Sales onboarding
  • Articulate the value proposition of Workbench, Connect, and Package Manager
  • Manage expansion pipeline and maintain accurate CRM data
  • Generate sales-qualified expansion opportunities and progress against ramp targets
  • Run value-focused discovery conversations with existing customer contacts
  • Achieve quota and develop a repeatable expansion playbook
  • Deliver structured customer and product feedback
  • Own growth in Account Managers’ book of business and mentor newer team members

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Prior experience in software sales, including sourcing and closing business, as an Inside Sales Representative or Account Executive/Manager
  • Strong interest in inside sales, customer relationship management, and enterprise data/data science software
  • Proven track record of qualifying interest and leading discovery efforts to match solutions to customer needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Proactive, coachable mindset, strong work ethic, willingness to hustle, and positive attitude
