About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design Artificial Intelligence solution architectures, including applications using large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and AI agents
- Design and evaluate monolithic, microservices, and distributed architectures, considering scalability, security, performance, and sustainability
- Define technical standards, reference components, and best practices for developing AI solutions
- Evaluate technologies, model providers, and cloud services, considering cost, performance, and alignment with business needs
- Prepare architecture documentation and diagrams for presentation and approval by the Architecture and Information Security teams
- Ensure that security, observability, governance, and compliance requirements under Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD) are incorporated from the solution design stage
- Provide technical guidance to the development team and support solution implementation, taking a hands-on approach when necessary
- Lead technical discussions and decisions, presenting recommendations and alternatives to technical and business stakeholders
- Contribute to the structuring and advancement of the Artificial Intelligence function, with potential progression into technical leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience in solution architecture and software engineering
- Experience designing application architectures, including monolithic and microservices-based solutions
- Practical knowledge of generative Artificial Intelligence application architecture, including LLMs, RAG, and AI agents
- Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: C#, .NET, Python, or C++
- Experience with cloud solution architecture, preferably AWS and/or Azure
- Knowledge of APIs, system integration, microservices, and messaging
- Experience with or knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and relational and non-relational databases
- Ability to create architecture diagrams and documentation, taking technical and business requirements into account
- Knowledge of information security, observability, and governance for technology solutions
- Strong communication skills, autonomy, and the ability to justify architectural decisions and lead technical discussions
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education
