About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as an N2 analyst in the SOC, conducting security incident analysis, investigation, and response during the night shift
Monitor and correlate events using SIEM, EDR/XDR, and other security solutions
Identify threats and prioritize responses based on severity and impact
Investigate alerts, analyze logs and indicators of compromise, and distinguish false positives from genuine incidents
Execute containment actions and support the eradication and recovery of affected environments
Provide technical support to N1 analysts, guiding ticket triage, handling, and escalation
Engage specialists, leadership, and environment owners according to the escalation matrix and incident severity
Record evidence, actions taken, and recommendations in tickets, ensuring traceability and SLA compliance
Prepare technical reports and contribute to root cause analyses, post-mortems, and improvement plans
Contribute to updating playbooks, operating procedures, and detection rules
Conduct shift handovers, communicating ongoing incidents, outstanding items, risks, and next steps
Comply with the Information Security Policy, Code of Conduct, and Integrated Management System guidelines
Protect the confidentiality of information and access credentials

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Networks, or a related field
Knowledge of event monitoring and investigation using SIEM, EDR/XDR, and firewalls
Log analysis for Windows, Linux, and network environments
Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP/HTTPS protocols
Experience with incident triage and response
Experience analyzing indicators of compromise and preserving evidence
Familiarity with playbooks, escalation matrices, and ticket and SLA management
Availability to work night shifts on a 12x36 schedule, including weekends and holidays
Graduate degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field is a plus
Analytical thinking, organization, accountability, clear communication, and collaboration
Discipline in documentation and shift handovers, composure under pressure, and a customer-focused approach to incident resolution
