About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the company’s accounting processes, ensuring the quality of financial information, compliance with ancillary reporting obligations, and adherence to applicable accounting standards.
Perform accounting entries, classifications, and reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts.
Execute and support monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and CPC guidelines.
Prepare, validate, and support the submission of ECD (Digital Bookkeeping—Brazilian digital accounting reporting).
Support internal and external audits by providing the required information, reports, and documentation.
Perform accounting analyses related to fixed assets, intangible assets, prepaid expenses, and other balance sheet transactions.
Prepare trial balances, management reports, accounting schedules, and control reports.
Provide technical support to internal departments, answering questions and assisting with accounting-related requests.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, process automation, and the implementation of new technologies within the accounting function.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Solid professional experience in accounting.
Experience with accounting close processes and financial statement preparation.
Knowledge of account reconciliations and account analysis.
Knowledge of ancillary reporting obligations, particularly ECD.
Tax knowledge covering federal, state, and municipal taxes.
Knowledge of SAP.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
