About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop content for web, mobile, and other platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduating journalism school student or graduate, or candidate from a related field
  • Ability to quickly layer and prioritize newsroom tasks
  • Flexibility to work in breaking news, features, short form, and non-traditional story formats
  • Curiosity and ability to find hidden story angles
  • Ability to convey the meaning behind news concisely
  • Experience and strength in video, podcast presentation, and other digital tools is an asset
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle are assets
  • Bilingualism in English/French is an asset
  • Only candidates legally eligible to work in Canada will be considered
  • Cover letter, résumé, three samples of published work if any, and at least two signed references required for application
