About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Explore new IP opportunities to support TBP’s growth ambition
- Build long-term brand strategies for new IP with each IP owner
- Act as the TBP point person for day-to-day client relationships, operations, and planning
- Schedule regular management and strategic check-ins
- Use Asana or other project management tools to ensure communication and alignment
- Follow up on actions and lead accountability
- Represent IP vision, values, and strategic mission during reviews, pitches, and industry events
- Determine brand strategy with IP owners
- Deliver short- and long-term franchise plans
- Collaborate with creative, marketing, and product teams to maintain consistent brand messaging
- Balance creative and commercial judgment across projects
- Implement marketing and communications activities, leveraging creative agencies where necessary
- Coordinate internal expertise across audio production and distribution, TV production, publishing, gaming, commercial, and other functions
- Maintain a network of relevant agency contacts
- Manage project expectations and scope
- Study consumer trends, competitor actions, and audience data to identify growth areas
- Determine required data sources and disseminate research and insights across TBP
- Identify and support outreach to commercial partnership opportunities
- Organize and facilitate pitch meetings
- Manage partnerships from ideation through handover for implementation and nurture potential partners
- Oversee multichannel marketing campaigns for property launches and milestones with the Harry Potter Brand & Franchise Marketing team
- Perform operational administration, build decks, and facilitate meetings
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5 years’ experience in brand management within entertainment, gaming or media
- Ideally, additional experience across product marketing, licensing or IP development
- Strong project management, account management, data analysis, and creative vision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to lead cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience
- In-depth knowledge of Franchise & Brand management, IP, Licensing, Content, Partnership, and the competitive landscape
- Strong brand management experience, ideally including franchise management, brand stewardship and/or marketing
- Ability to translate insights into strategies that evolve the IP consumer product portfolio while staying true to brand values and storytelling
- Strong partner and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work autonomously across multiple projects
- Highly organized and able to prioritize projects in a rapidly changing work environment while meeting tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Storytelling skills balancing creative and commercial needs
- Experience with negotiation and commercial thinking
- Excellent attention to detail while working at pace
- Self-motivated, proactive, enthusiastic, creative, and innovative
