About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist the Manager as a project team member
- Interact with project owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors
- Develop and analyze virtual construction processes to maximize construction efficiency and cost savings
- Enhance project documentation and delivery
- Attend and/or manage model coordination meetings
- Document project preconstruction/BIM meetings and site problems
- Coordinate models with internal and subcontractor detailers and modellers
- Record coordination sign-offs
- Process shop-drawing-level models for approval
- Assist with construction coordination and scheduling
- Print drawing sets for team review
- Support the client with material quantity calculations and crew work planning
- Prepare 3D models and dimensioned shop-drawing sheets for field use and review
- Prepare BIM models and shop drawings accurately and on time
- Provide daily and weekly timesheets
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 8 year(s) working experience
- 5 year(s) relevant working experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) software such as Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360
- Extensive knowledge of architectural and engineering principles and BIM methodologies
- Strong understanding of project requirements and objectives
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Problem-solving abilities related to BIM implementation
- ERP knowledge; preferably SAP functional skills
- 2 years GCC experience is a plus
