About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support client services efforts by connecting agency activities to clients
- Implement projects to promote and support the success and profitability of client deliverables
- Drive daily tasks by communicating with internal service delivery personnel and leading client communications
- Manage workflows for assigned accounts and ensure jobs are completed accurately
- Develop and maintain account status reports and project timelines
- Contribute to project briefs and update clients and teams on schedules and next steps
- Own meeting decks and associated technology
- Review materials for accuracy and completion before client delivery, presentation, or final production
- Submit direct cost estimate requests and obtain client approvals
- Maintain organized project files
- Serve as a day-to-day client liaison and run status calls and meetings
- Foster client relationships and collaborate with team leads
- Assist with agency fees, budgets, approvals, resource allocation, expenditures, time utilization, billing, and forecasts
- Identify bottlenecks that may jeopardize project profitability
- Develop knowledge of product categories, competitors, key data sets, client objectives, patient/professional audiences, milestones, clinical background, performance metrics, and competitive landscape
- Identify opportunities to grow client business and billings
- Communicate the agency’s strategic and tactical value to clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in marketing, communications, or advertising
- At least one year of experience as an Assistant Account Executive or Account Executive within an advertising, marketing, communication or related industry
- Experience with direct client contact
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Preferred: Hands-on experience with clients’ online submission systems for medical/regulatory and legal reviews (e.g., Zinc or Veeva)
- Preferred: Medical communications or healthcare industry experience
- Preferred: Experience in writing SOWs and project briefs
