About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Acts as the business lead for the agency team and is responsible for all facets of assigned client business
  • Carries out the client’s vision and advocates for agency solutions by aligning resources
  • Leads cross-functional teams to deliver excellent work and client satisfaction across multiple accounts
  • Drives organic growth and growth of account team members
  • Directs account teams to oversee tactics and provides guidance on high-profile or new strategy/deliverables
  • Develops and maintains senior-level client and agency relationships
  • Forecasts and recognizes monthly and annual revenue for assigned accounts
  • Guides staff on pricing, revisions, and forecasting; reports financial changes and identifies issues early
  • Provides product, category, competition, and market insights to internal and external teams
  • Expands agency opportunities, participates in business development, mentors junior staff, networks with senior executives, and identifies opportunities for sister companies
  • Motivates and mentors account teams, manages interdepartmental issues, represents the agency at senior client levels, and leads through challenging circumstances

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • May require travel domestically and/or internationally including overnight stays
  • Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; Internet
  • Pharmaceutical/Healthcare Experience (preferred)
  • 13 years of agency experience; experience successfully managing and growing $1M+ pharma/healthcare accounts (preferred)
