About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute annual strategic business plans to drive new revenue and sales growth for Precision AQ products and services
  • Build and maintain client relationships, especially with senior executives, to generate new business and drive revenue growth
  • Manage client opportunities from prospecting through solution development, SOW finalization, and transition to implementation
  • Coordinate with service line leads and account management to advance cross-selling opportunities and expand market share
  • Promote Precision AQ capabilities through conferences, trade shows, webinars, and other lead-generation activities
  • Direct market research and analysis covering trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities
  • Create client-specific development strategies and tactical plans to achieve sales targets
  • Collaborate with service lines on budgets, forecasts, and metrics
  • Manage the sales cycle, including stakeholder meetings, proposals, pipeline management, and implementation transition
  • Prepare executive summaries and presentations demonstrating the value of Precision AQ solutions
  • Negotiate client deliverables and value-based pricing
  • Maintain client records in Salesforce
  • Communicate client needs and recommendations to service lines
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Sales Operations on strategic marketing and lead generation
  • Contribute to pricing and competitive positioning
  • Track competitors and analyze competitive threats
  • Matrix-manage and mentor extended team members
  • Serve as a strategic and operational leader within Business Development and Precision AQ

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS in business and/or marketing, or similar
  • 20+ years of experience, optimally in life sciences company sales and marketing positions, or professional services firms selling products and/or consultancy to life science companies
  • Successful track record in driving revenue growth and achieving business results in multi-year continuous roles with proven consistent growth and expansion
  • Expertise in consultative, insight-focused, account-based selling approach
  • Comprehensive understanding of life science customer experience and engagement strategies and tactics
  • Demonstrated broad influence leading cross-functionally in organizations
  • Experience in managing and developing teams
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions clearly and compellingly
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to identify, qualify, and negotiate effectively with clients to close business deals
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data and metrics to drive decision-making
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
