About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support Sales team members in constructing estimates for assigned projects according to Preferred Technologies estimation standards
Dedicate support to Preferred Partner accounts
Estimate projects large in scale, scope, and complexity
Lead, manage, and assume accountability for assigned sales projects and tasks
Meet regularly with Sales Team Members and Project Managers to determine and prioritize design estimation needs
Present designs to Sales Team Members, Operations, and end users as needed
Conduct site visits to determine customer needs, with or without Sales Team Members
Mentor Design Estimator I personnel
Become a Subject Matter Expert in a Security Integration area of knowledge and serve as a Trusted Advisor
Continuously develop sales and design skills and certifications
Work with computers and standard office equipment; occasional lifting up to 15 lbs.

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of estimating experience or field work within the Security Integration industry
Experience in security integration industry required
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Ability to review and interpret blueprints
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Experience and confidence with public speaking and presenting to audiences
Ability to hold others accountable to completing assigned tasks
Willingness to take on new challenges and build current skills
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Capacity to work independently and collaboratively
Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy
Hold Genetec, Hanwha, DMP/Bosch and Axis certifications within 6 months of hire; company provided
Ability to enter high security areas, potentially requiring immediate background checks
Successful completion of background investigation and pre-employment drug screen
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience with AutoCAD/Bluebeam (Revu) preferred
Fluency with Microsoft Office 365 software tools preferred
