About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review post-foreclosure title and supporting documents
  • Review title commitments
  • Submit HUD/VA conveyance packages
  • Prepare and file legal documents
  • Cure and manage title issues
  • Coordinate the seller side of REO closings
  • Communicate with clients about delays or issues
  • Review title reports completely and identify issues
  • Document and communicate review results to clients
  • Establish an accurate chain of title
  • Prepare post-sale conveyance documents
  • Initiate title-curative actions and follow up on title issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support department goals
  • Occasionally work extended hours based on operational needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2-3 years of real property title experience
  • Working knowledge of county real property indexing
  • Working knowledge of what constitutes a valid lien
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume team environment
  • Ability to proofread with precision and accuracy
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Required to complete the E-Verify process to verify employment eligibility in the United States after accepting an offer
  • Ability to maintain the security and confidentiality of sensitive information
