About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work collaboratively with Advisory consultants to deliver performance improvement to healthcare systems
Perform billable client work and lead/manage significant workstreams or projects
Determine client needs based on engagement statements of work
Lead, guide, complete, interpret, and quality-assure data analyses
Develop recommendations, solutions, presentations, and client deliverables
Assist with implementing recommended improvements
Manage project risks, issues, economics, budgets, expenses, profitability, administration, and logistics
Oversee day-to-day activities and staff assigned to workstreams or projects
Mentor and educate project staff
Build strong, referenceable client relationships
Participate in Advisory practice development and learn Premier technologies and services
Identify market opportunities and contribute to sales presentation deliverables
Complete annual required training

Requirements

What you’ll need

5 or more years of applicable experience
Bachelor’s degree required
Coordinate and deliver effective verbal and written presentations to client audiences
Ability to conduct analyses, oversee, and mentor others in the delivery and production of client deliverables
Ability to relate to clients and team members in an effective and collaborative manner
Ability to lead work groups to successful outcomes
Experience in Health Systems Finance, Operations, Operational or Strategic Consulting, Strategic Planning or Decision Support Analytics
Experience leading cross-functional teams
Remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time
Be adaptive and change priorities quickly; meet deadlines
Attention to detail
Operate computer programs and software
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences in person and in electronic formats
Day-to-day contact with others (co-workers and/or the public)
Making independent decisions
Ability to work in a collaborative business environment in close quarters with peers and varying interruptions
Travel 61-80% within the US
Sedentary physical work, exerting up to 10 pounds occasionally
