About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver performance improvement work for healthcare systems as part of an Advisory consulting team
Lead and participate in client engagement workstreams
Determine client needs based on statements of work, interviews, analytics, and other tools
Lead, complete, oversee, and quality-assure data analyses
Interpret analyses, form initial recommendations, and develop potential solutions
Develop client deliverables, reports, presentations, and graphic presentations
Assist with risk and issue identification and mitigation
Manage workstream economics, budgets, expenses, and project activities
Assist clients with implementing recommended improvements
Participate in practice development and approved educational activities
Maintain utilization targets for billable projects
Build and maintain dynamic, interactive data models using Premier and client data
Lead process standardization and automation of client deliverables and internal tools
Troubleshoot Tableau workbooks, SQL scripts, and Excel analyses
Learn Premier technologies and services
Identify market opportunities, contribute to sales presentations, and identify profitability improvements
Complete required annual training

Requirements

What you’ll need

4 or more years of applicable experience
Bachelor’s degree required
Ability to coordinate and deliver effective verbal and written presentations to client audiences
Ability to conduct analyses and oversee and mentor others in client deliverables
Ability to relate to clients and team members in an effective and collaborative manner
Ability to lead work groups to successful outcomes
Experience in Health Systems Finance, Operations, Operational or Strategic Consulting, Strategic Planning or Decision Support Analytics
Experience analyzing complex healthcare data sets and developing visualizations and presentations
Experience with qualitative and quantitative data validation and analysis
Experience in new methodology development and strategic problem-solving
Lean Process Improvement; Six Sigma Green/Black belt
Ability to remain stationary for prolonged periods
Ability to adapt and change priorities quickly and meet deadlines
Attention to detail
Ability to operate computer programs and software
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences in person and electronically
Ability to make independent decisions
Ability to work collaboratively in close quarters with peers and varying interruptions
Travel 61–80% within the US
