About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the enterprise account owner for assigned member organizations, including large and/or complex health systems
  • Develop and execute integrated strategies that drive growth, retention, and value realization across Premier’s portfolio of solutions and services
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with C-suite executives and key stakeholders
  • Understand member business priorities and position Premier as a critical partner in operational, clinical, and financial performance improvement
  • Act as the member’s central point of contact and coordinate cross-functional Premier teams
  • Achieve defined growth, retention, and member value outcomes
  • Develop, maintain, and execute integrated strategic account plans
  • Lead executive engagement cadence, including executive business reviews and executive-level discussions
  • Generate reference accounts, success stories, and networking opportunities
  • Drive existing-account growth through cross-sell and up-sell strategies
  • Identify and prioritize expansion opportunities across Premier’s offerings
  • Lead commercial strategy and coordinate sales efforts
  • Articulate solution business value and financial impact to executive stakeholders
  • Develop renewal strategies 12–18 months in advance and manage retention and renewals
  • Identify and manage champions, influencers, and potential detractors
  • Communicate financial, operational, and clinical value delivered
  • Maintain member satisfaction and engagement and proactively resolve issues
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver integrated, enterprise-level solutions
  • Provide informal leadership and direction across internal stakeholders
  • Represent Premier in executive-level forums to strengthen relationships and market presence

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10 or more years of applicable experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior executives and C-suite stakeholders
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including ability to articulate ROI and value
