About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated build, test, and deployment workflows
Integrate pipelines with Azure services to enable multi-cloud deployments
Ensure pipelines are reusable, templated, and well-documented
Manage GitHub repositories, branching strategies, and pull request workflows
Partner with development teams to migrate codebases from Azure DevOps to GitHub
Provision, configure, and manage Azure resources including VMs, AKS, App Services, Function Apps, API Management Gateway, and Azure Container Apps
Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
Support hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, including VPN configuration and network security
Automate operational tasks with PowerShell or Bash
Monitor and optimize application and infrastructure performance using Datadog and Azure Monitor
Troubleshoot deployment issues and production outages, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions
Integrate security controls into CI/CD workflows following DevSecOps practices
Manage secrets and credentials securely across GitHub, Azure, and AWS environments
Ensure systems and processes comply with organizational and regulatory standards
Evaluate tools and technologies to improve DevOps practices and platform reliability
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical discussions and process improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation
Proficiency with Azure cloud platform, including resource provisioning, networking, and security
Experience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
Scripting proficiency in PowerShell and/or Bash
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or AKS
Experience with Datadog and Azure Monitor
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and cloud security best practices
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
3+ years of experience in DevOps or a related engineering role
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
Ability to work effectively in agile, cross-functional teams
MySQL database management, ArgoCD, and AWS experience are preferred but not required
Relevant Azure or DevOps certifications are a plus
